Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm a bariatric coach who helps people heal their relationship with food and body image and connect their mind, body, and spirit.

I wanted a bite of cookie. My first thought was automatic: "I shouldn't." Instead of following that habit, I paused. I recognized it as an old mental pattern, not a rule. I decided to take one bite. I ate it slowly, then paused again and asked myself: do I really want more? I didn't. I put it away with zero guilt or shame—and avoided the binge cycle I used to live in.

That's the kind of shift I help my clients build: not more control, but more awareness and compassion.
